About me
Louis Gale is an actor and writer from Leicestershire, based in London and has recently graduated with a First Class Honours in Acting from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (L.I.P.A.). A quirky, energetic and imaginative performer, Louis has recently completed his portrayals of Benedick in William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing under Liverpool Everyman Director Chris Tomlinson; George Orwell in Red & Black, the epic, large scale devised piece on the Spanish Civil War under Alan Lane of Slunglow; as well as recently being part of new dark comedy, The Meeting, at the Edinburgh Fringe and North West Tour of romantic comedy Four Screens.Louis is also a writer and one of the Co-Founders of Stormy Teacup Productions, an actor musician company with a love of classic stories with a twist. He recently wrote and acted in their first piece of public performance: an intimate and comedic coming of age story set in the pre First World War countryside entitled Songs of Innocence , it was the highest selling show of the Future Proof Festival at Liverpool's Unity Theatre and received a Five Star Review. He is incredibly excited to reprise the production at the Tristan Bates Theatre in London's West End as part of the Six Plays, Ones Day festival at the start of 2020. Louis is also one of the writers of immersive piece A Place Called England currently in development with Hope Street Theatre's resident company Barewater Productions.
