Reviews:
Quote from Watch This space Film Magazine on Haven the short film directed by Tim Porter.
Haven is an almost impossibly beautiful, elegiac and crushing visual poem that charts the suicide of a Mother (played with stoic perfection by Miranda Magee) aided by her son. Kadeem Boyce, as Hayden, articulates the angst, loneliness, isolation, regret and heartbreak of such a life-changing decision with virtually no dialogue and it is masterfully done.
Oracle of Film Review
As the camera settles on the actors’ faces, it picks up every minute detail the performers get across. Boyce and Magee are wonderful to watch, really making the most out of the little time they are given to get the right emotions across. While the source of their grief is, for the most part, lost on the audience (Magee’s mother is bound to a wheelchair, a fact her son seems unable to process), we feel their pain. The weary mask that Miranda Magee’s character forces herself to wear to hide the pain of their fractured relationship. She has a look of steel, but the eyes show the exhaustion of keeping her guard up.

Cinderella at The Civic Theatre Doncaster removed
If anyone has any stage presence at all in this show it's Miranda Magee, playing the Baroness Evilia Hardup - a nice touch to have a woman being the heavy - and she grabs every opportunity to stir up the villainy, proving that the nasties are always the best parts to play'.

Fatal Encounter Darlington Civic Theatre
A supporting cast made up of Aaron Bixley, Michael Kirk, Miranda Magee and Michael Carrington serve the principals admirably. This production of Fatal Encounter is a resounding success and comes highly recommended.

Review by Sheila Connor (2010)
Eminent actors Neil Stacey (Howard's End and Room with a View) and Nicholas Ball (James Hazell in the television series) are justifiably given top billing with Anita Harris, bringing life to the characters of art dealer Mark Adler and police inspector Coldwell, ably assisted by Miranda Magee, Susan Skipper, Aaron Bixley, Michael Kirk and Matthew Carrington.

Black Sunday Theatre Production.
Reviewed One Stop Arts.
Miranda Magee is a fresh breeze in all of this. Whenever her silky politician takes centre stage to rattle off a stream of conservative rhetoric, it’s like we’re seeing a different play. "Debt is like a disease", she proclaims, exuding confidence and even managing to make the fact-bending logic of the political right believable for a moment.
