About me
I began my career improvising in a troupe led by Ken Campbell performing in venues in Brighton and London. I founded and ran Crow Theatre for five years devising, directing, producing and acting. As well as community-based projects, we had success as an experimental site-specific company, including a Time Out Critics Choice. We explored the immersive and interactive; a form I loved, working on several projects with Secret Cinema as an actor during the same period. I've had some fantastic stage roles by some wonderful new writers, and a powerful part in a feature about UK council estate culture and mental health.I had some time out to focus on home and family, but now fully committed to pursuing an acting career. I'm back in acting class, in particular regular Meisner practice, and been working with students and professionals in both film and on stage.
Casting types; young mum, vulnerable but tough, strong, direct, kooky, funny, odd, emotionally unstable, interesting, intelligent.
Additional skills:
A great ear for accents and speak good Spanish.
I practise Yoga regularly and sometimes contemporary dance, acro and contact improvisation.
Trained in Meisner.
Forum Theatre.
Workshop leader and drama teacher.
Additional information:
Living in Surrey, just outside of London. Also have a base in Chichester, West Sussex.
I'm working on a showreel. For now theres this:
