About me

I have attended Stagecoach Theatre Arts in Newport since I was 5 and enjoy all elements – acting, singing and dancing. I have have developed a particularly strong singing voice and am a very confident actor and dancer and am not phased by public speaking.

From 2013 - 2016 I was one of the Wales Millennium Centre Only Kids Aloud Chorus and travelled to Cape Town to perform with Cape Town Opera in 2 concerts with Sir Bryn Terfel 'Spirit of Hope' on 2nd & 3rd May 2014. Auditioned 400 children from across Wales for 70 places.

We also performed the same concert at the International Eisteddfod in Llangollen on 11th July 2014.

Just before we finished the Only Kids Aloud choir for 2016 I performed as part of Roald Dahl 100 - The City of the Unexpected, produced by Wales Millennium Centre and National Theatre Wales and Directed by Nigel Jamieson. This was a weekend long event in Cardiff in September 2016.

As well as this exciting experience I have recently been cast as Jojo in Seussical the Musical Junior by the Theatre school I attend. We performed the show in June 2014 in the Congress Theatre, Cwmbran.

I am playing the lead role of Aladdin in Disney's Aladdin with my Stagecoach School and also have a principal role of 'Narrator' in my school's production of Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat in June this year.

Now that my voice has changed and I am a Baritone I have moved on to Only Boy Aloud run by Musical Director Tim Rhys Evans.
Additional skills:
I play the violin and have passed my Grade 1, 2, 3 and 4 ABRSM exams with merits.

I also have singing lessons and achieved a Distinction in my ABRSM Grade 3 and 4 exams and have most recently achieved Grade 5.

I have just started piano lessons and passed my Grade 2 exam with Distinction in December 2016.

I love and enjoy playing most sports – particularly Cricket - I was team Captain in my school Cricket team for Year 7 and a member of Newport Cricket Club and represent my County in the U13 Gwent Young Cricketers Squad. I also enjoy to play and watch rugby and football.

I am a very strong swimmer – I used to swim 4 times a week for my City's Swimming Club and regularly swam competitively but I decided to concentrate on my performing and music instead. I also enjoy reading, playing on my WiiU and XBoxOne and making short films of my games and providing the voiceover to upload to YouTube.

I love lots of different music including musical theatre and have also performed with Welsh National Opera in both Hansel and Gretel on tour and in a one off Concert Performance of Tosca with Bryn Terfel for his 50th Birthday. I was understudy for the Shepherd Boy Solo.
I love going to the theatre and have a long list of West End shows I have seen already including Les Miserables, Matilda, Shrek the Musical, Ghost, The Lion King, Oliver, The Sound of Music, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Mary Poppins.
Additional information:
I work really hard at school and am very motivated.

I am a very quick learner and am highly motivated and can learn scripts and lyrics very quickly.

I have lots of friends of all ages and have been told I am very polite. I am self-confident, mature for my age and am friendly with a cheerful, relaxed attitude to life.

I am very outgoing and am comfortable working with people of all ages and make friends very easily.
