About me
I am a relatively fit and, I believe, young looking 75 year old. I served in the Royal Navy for many years before taking retirement in 2003. This military experience has ensured that I consider reliability to be vitally important and when I commit to a task, I will see it through.I have been performing in Amateur Dramatics since 1984 primarily with the Titchfield Festival Theatre group. I have a great deal of experience as a supporting artist having worked in the industry since 2003. I’m now wanting to expand my experience into some rather more challenging work.
Acting experience:
I have no formal acting training but have learned a great deal in amateur theatre. I have performed many varied roles including lead performances in:
Donald in 'Blue Remembered Hills' 2014. Man in 'Veronica's Room' 2015. Dadda in 'Entertaining Mr Sloan' 2017 and Tom in 'Goodnight Mr Tom' 2017. More recently I played Neils Arnessen in a locally written play entitled 'Ibsen's Bathtub', also various roles in 'The Permanent Way' by David Hare. I have also featured in several short and student films in the past 12 months.
I have played many different characters in supporting artist roles spanning almost 20 years in the industry.
