About me
I am an imaginative, and versatile actress able to play a wide range of emotions and genres from straight gritty dramatic realism to bawdy or zany off the wall comic roles. I especially enjoy getting 'under the skin' of a character, and telling real human stories. I am confident, hard working, focused and happy taking direction. After entering into the profession a little later than average I have a wealth of acting and 'real life' experience to draw from . I am looking for any opportunities to showcase my talents, and develop new skills.I have had a number of paid corporate jobs, for household name firms, and been in a Music Video and some student films. I am currently doing a screen acting course with Louise Osborne at the MAC in Birmingham, performing a range of monologues and duologues, commercials and improvisation to camera. Last year I completed a professional diploma in acting with Birmingham Theatre School to gain formal, production based training.

I have been acting professionally since January 2014 after entering into the profession a little later than average! I am represented by Coventry based agency, Red Talent Management. Recent jobs including corporate training DVDs, for high profile national companies, which involved both natural style script and improvisation to camera. I have also been cast in Music Video and a number of other short films which will shortly be available to view as part of my showreel,
I recently completed acting for screen classes with Louise Osborne at the MAC in Birmingham, as additional on screen training and to continue to develop my acting skills for screen, including commercials, improvisation techniques, monologues and duologues. Last year I completed a 1 year part time professional acting diploma with Birmingham Theatre School, to gain formal production based training. So far this has helped me to further develop skills in character development, physical theatre, improvisation and other techniques and script analysis amongst others. At BTS I appearied in as Sophie in 100. In Jim Cartright's Bed, where I played both Norma and Norman (a hand operated puppet). I also appeared in the Theatre Schools production of Christie in Love, playing a wide range of roles from a Scouse prostitute to chief inspector and the play 100.
Prior to this I recently completed a 12 day screen acting course with The Actors Studio based at Pinewood Studios to further develop my skills and techniques required for acting in film and television. During this experience I have performed a number of monologues and duologues in front of camera which have been very well received.
Other theatrical experience includes various productions at Rugby Theatre. In Wait Until Dark a psychological suspense thriller I played the lead role of 'Susie' a woman left recently blind by a car accident, who is learning to adjust and cope with her new perspective on life. I have also played wide variety of comic and bawdy parts in the prologue to Canterbury tales, including an old hag (think Terry Jones in the Life of Brian), Pertoloet (A Rhode Island chicken!). In Brassed Off I I played the part of 'Sandra' a hard up and desperate mother, struggling with poverty and relationship breakdowns .
