About me
Tara Sophia was born and raised in Ireland and still retains her strong regional dialect. Her theatre credits include ‘Feste' in Shakespeare's twelfth night at the Royal & Derngate Theatre, directed by James Farrell. Tara has also been directed by Jemma McDonnell from The Paper Birds Theatre Company in a devised piece named Obnatus.She has performed In leicister square theatre playing multiple roles and has worked with award winning director Clive Arnold in workshops for media students.
Tara is a member of Jaybird Theatre Company which was founded by herself and three other members. Jaybird Theatre Company have already devised one show which they plan on touring alongside workshops.
Tara has recently performed in one of Dublins largest events playing numerous characters based on improvisation.
She has devised workshops and performances for A-level students teaching them archetypes and character building.
Tara has also been classically trained in ballet since the age of three and is currently developing her singing and guitar skills.

I am classically trained in ballet and also have experience in street dance. I am highly skilled at physical theatre due to my dance backround.
I have experience in post-modern, devised performances,script work and clowning.
