About me
I graduated from the University of Chichester Conservatoire with a First Class BA Hons in Musical Theatre Performance. Prior to starting my degree I worked with Steven Dexter at British Youth Music Theatre on ‘What I go to School For: The Busted Musical’ in partnership with ATG. This production had the same creative team as ‘Loserville’ the 2012 Musical. This was one of three shows I worked on with BYMT. During my degree I performed in ‘The Addams Family’ with musical direction by Jordan Li- Smith who won the 2018 BroadwayWorldUK award for Best Musical Direction. As a performer the biggest challenge I have faced was learning how to be a ‘swing’ for my dissertation performance of ‘Honk!’ by Stiles and Drewe, learning twenty one characters and seventeen different tracks. This pushed me to explore new ways of learning and retaining information, I found that I really enjoyed the challenge and thrived on it. Alongside my training I have been working in the corporate acting industry with Interact at the Royal College of General Practitioners as a medical role player. I have continued to train since graduating going to classes weekly to extend my knowledge and keep myself active.Skills
