    About me

Heather began her professional career in 2005 after being awarded a full scholarship to the prestigious ‘Sylvia Young Theatre School’ at the age of 11. In 2006, Heather made her West End debut joining the cast of ‘Billy Elliot The Musical’ for 1 year at ‘The Victoria Palace Theatre’ in London. In 2007, Heather made her television debut in BBC’s feature film ‘Ballet Shoes’ playing ‘Winifred Bagnell’ (best all-round student,) alongside Emma Watson, Emilia Fox and Victoria Wood. Heather then went on to play episode lead ‘Kylie Bates’ in BBC’s Doctors in 2010, before moving to Galway in Ireland for 6 months to film children’s sitcom ‘My Phone Genie,’ for ‘CITV’ playing (series regular) Pene Hart. After finishing filming in Galway, Heather was back in London working for the BBC again, this time on ‘Casualty’ playing episode lead ‘Antonia’ before embarking on the first UK tour of ‘To Sir With love’ with ‘The Touring Consortium’ for 6 months playing ‘Pamela Dare.’ Heather continues to work in film, television and theatre, recently featuring in ‘Testament Of Youth’ for ‘Heyday Films’ and ‘BBC Films’ directed by ‘James Kent’ and ‘Breathe’ for ‘BBC Films’ directed by ‘Andy Serkis.’
