  About me

  During a thirty seven year career Iain has performed in theaters the length and breadth of Great Britain, clocking up over a hundred productions in the process.

  Some favourite roles include Gandalf in “The Hobbit” (UK tour), Mozart in “Amadeus”. Oberon in “The Dream”, Abel in the TMA Award winning “Tom’s Midnight Garden” at the New Victory Theatre in New York, The Fool in “King Lear”, Angus in “Neville’s Island”, Father Tom Joad in “Grapes of Wrath”, Lucky Eric in “Bouncers”, Antipholus of Ephesus in “Comedy of Errors”, Sagamore in “The Millionairess”, Dennis in “One for the Road”, Fanny Babbs in “Charley’s Aunt”, Danny in “Night Must Fall” , Eric in “ A Slice of Saturday Night” and Candy in “Of Mice and Men”.

  Iain has appeared in 27 Christmas shows and has had the privilege of working with such luminaries as : Julian Clary, John Barrowman, Joe Pasquale, The Krankies, Gary Wilmott, Christopher Biggins, Matthew Kelly, Russ Abbott, Gregor Fisher, Stefanie Powers and Brain Blessed.

  His film work includes : Hippolyte in “Love’s Labours Lost”, Dukes Man in “As You Like It” and Papageno’s Gaoler in “The Magic Flute” all directed by Kenneth Branagh, Kent in “King Lear” directed by Brian Blessed, Ross in “Macbeth”, “War Crimes” , “Tennis”, ”Joyrider”, “It’s Not You It’s Me”, “The Blessed”, “The Wickertree”( the sequel to the 70’s cult classic film “The Wicker Man”) , “Bel Ami” with Robert Pattinson and Uma Thurman and "Tommys Honour" starring Sam Neil
