    Additional Information

    Joan is a choreographer as well as an actress. She has choreographed period and modern dances for plays produced by The Wayward Players in London and at the Edinburgh Festival. She has also lead experimental movement workshops for The Hammer of Los Theatre Company. Her main style is Cunningham-based but she has studied several other forms of dance, including ballet, jazz, contact improvisation, T'ai Chi, samba, flamenco, B'harata Natyam, Irish set dancing, folk and ballroom.

    She is a qualified teacher and has taught dance to children and adults.

    Joan has also done secretarial work in a variety of businesses in several countries,including three years with the United Nations organisation, FAO, in Rome.

    Joan has experience in theatre, film and television. In addition, she has taken part in site specific productions, improvisations and physical theatre. She has an MA in Dance Studies, a BH in Dance and Religion and a BA in English and Philosophy.
