About me
I have always been a very creative person, eager to keep busy with lots of extra curricular activities. Since I was little I have been taking dancing lessons; ballet, tap, and most recently, Irish dancing. I have spent many years performing in dance shows, building up my confidence in not only my ability but also my desire to perform. At the age of nine, I had stumbled across work as a background artist and was exposed to a glimpse of the world of acting. This quickly became my biggest passion. I attended youth theatre throughout the duration of my teenage years, performing several shows a year in a professional theatre. I then played the role of Annelle in a stage production of Steel Magnolias, which coincided with a short course I attended at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and fell in love with the whole experience. Wanting to branch out from theatre to establish an ability in different forms, I chose to take up some more extra work as a way to familiarise myself with the world behind the camera, something which thoroughly intrigues and excites me. Fortunately, most of the background artist roles I have done haves been featured, most notably in BBC’s Sherlock Holmes and Bandit's Delicious. I played the role of Connie in a student film adaption of Lucy Prebbles' "The Effects" which received outstanding feedback from both lecturers and fellow students alike. I have since been asked to feature in several short films, all through recommendation and most recently an online ad which led to another job with the same company shortly after. I am open to a range of ideas and concepts and I love nothing more than the experience of creating a piece of visual art and broadening my abilities as an actor through variant characters.Additional skills:
I've had years of dance training, most notably Irish dancing, and I'm a very natural mover. I pick up things very quickly and I am confident in learning other types of dance and physical theatre.
