About me
Zoë Hunter - BiographyZoë is an actress, physical performer, puppeteer, voice over artist and drama facilitator. She holds a law degree from Glasgow University and trained at Central School of Speech and Drama where she received a distinction in performance. Zoë is a founding member of Unpacked - the acclaimed collaborative theatre company whose work focuses on visual and physical storytelling, object manipulation and puppetry. As well as working with Unpacked she has also worked with other leading companies and artists; touring nationally and internationally. These include National Theatre of Scotland (Peter Pan directed by Olivier winner John Tiffany), Ambassador Theatre Group, Brighton Dome, Rowan Tree Theatre Company (with which she toured the one woman show Nancy Sleekit and took the lead in the highly acclaimed The Journey of Jeannie Deans), LIFT, Theatre Royal Bath, Liverpool Playhouse, Edinburgh Royal Lyceum etc.
Her education work includes running a Devised Theatre course at Brunel University, working with The Ambassador Theatre Group running drama, movement and puppetry workshops for young people alongside some of their major touring productions like Stuart Little (in conjunction with Polka Theatre) and also directing the Larkin About site-specific show with Richmond Theatre and London Parks.
