About me
Qualified broadcast journalist trained on a BJTC accredited course. Working as a video journalist specialising in crime and court reporting, I researched, filmed, and edited my own content, ensuring I delivered from pitch through to production. With a keen interest in law and current affairs, I contribute video and articles for an online publication aimed at the public and run by journalists. Previous work experience includes BBC One, Sky News and ITN Productions. Jon Robins, Editor of The Justice Gap:
"It isn't easy finding journalism students who are interested in the complex areas that interest us. Christina had a very genuine enthusiasm for the kind of issues that engage us (in particular miscarriages of justice). She has strong presence in front of a camera and handles difficult interviews well. Christina has very good journalistic instinct, understands what makes a proper story work and the confidence needed to handle tough stories on and off camera. In one memorable morning, we moved swiftly from filming the Rough Justice/Trial & Error journalist David Jessel in conversation with Eddie Gilfoyle who has spent years trying to clear his name onto an interview (by Christina) of the leading human rights lawyer Michael Mansfield. She did a brilliant job. Also she wrote a powerful interview of the Guardian prison correspondence and former prisoner Eric Allison."
