About me
Graduated from the National Film School of India in film direction, Im a french filmmaker, based in Paris, 40 years old.I’ve lived 6 years in India, country where I could rise up as an individual as well as an artist. At the film institute, while learning our specialization skills, we had the chance to get introduced to all the departments that are orchestrating the well functioning of a shoot (AD, edit, caméra, sound). I wrote, directed and shot dozen of short fiction films and documentaries in all possible formats. we notably had the real chance to shoot most of our projects on celluloid.
In 2013, when returning to my hometown Paris, all that experience helped me slide in all different conditions of shoots that were available for me at the time. Immediately after I return I am commissioned by a French production house to prepare, direct and shoot 2 feature length documentaries for a french tv cable channel. The 1st one belong to a film series named « the sky adventurers » and was shot in the Canadian far north region, following the work of bush pilots on their duties for mining companies (Tata Steel). The 2nd feature length docu details the everyday lives of truck drivers on the winter roads of Siberia. Another one is about the french company Michelin. My latest one was a portrait of Morgan Motors company and fans of the old classic car.
Im also working on the script of my next mid length fiction film, CLOCK WISE & OTHER WISE. The story unfolds around the life of several multi aged characters, from morning to evening, converging towards the center of Paris where an extra ordinary event takes place that changes deeply their perceptions of reality.
I’ve travelled 2 times to Peru. I did the camera for a tv show about street artists (pilot film). The 2nd trip was to field work and research for my next documentary project about the socio-ecology of medicinal plants in Amazonian forest region (pre production process).
I’ve worked with kids in a ciné workshop financed by the french local gouvernement at the end of which a short fiction film was made.
I have also shot several institutional films (fashion, theatre, seminars) and did audiovisual contents for the African Development Bank.
Additional information:
Im an open minded hearty person. I like scuba diving.
