About me

I work as a freelance film and media composer creating unique scores from my own studio just outside Bath. My passion is of orchestral writing that combines unusual elements of electronic sounds that enable me to produce emotive, driven and narrative music that has been used in films, interactive videos, animations and for Production libraries.

Recent projects have included a score for Wicked Winters Films, a children's animation for Echo-12, alongside a specially commissioned album called 'Penumbra' for Thermal Music TV. 2020 created another opportunity to work with Martin Percy at Unit 9 Productions on an interactive documentary with UCL 'Climate Emergency' https://www.unit9.com/project/climate-emergency-interactive

Last year gave me the opportunity to work for Moonbug Entertainment creating the music for over twenty episodes of Thomas & Friends.

Over the last five years I have written exclusively for a number of selected Production Libraries that have been successful placing music across their network. These include Thermal Music TV, arms Music Productions and Evolution Media Music.

Crew:
I am an experienced and passionate media composer working primarily with independent film makers and commercial production companies. Many of my tracks are licensed through UK and International libraies including Evolution Media Music, Hummingbird and JPM Music.

My background has it's roots in contemporary art composition and multi-instrumental performance. I have a love of the orchestra and a slant towards minamilsm and jazz in terms of stylistic influencfes, but always enjoy the opportunity to stretch the musical canvas. I use live musicians whenever possible alongside professional music libraries to create the richest musical sonorities .

I am available for work internationally and within the UK where I am currently based.
