About me

Film and television is what I am truly passionate about, creating my own short films from the age of fourteen and now moving into the professional environment. I am an extremely quick learner and will welcome any sort of new challenge, striving to be the best. I am a hard working, honest and enthusiastic person with excellent communication skills. I am able to work as a highly valued team member or on my own initiative.

I have a massive appreciation for all types of movies, attending the cinema as often as possible, and a real interest in the technicalities of filmmaking. I have been making my own short dramas and documentaries since I was 14, and in my time as a student of Television Production at Bradford University (the city of film), I have directed, produced and performed in numerous coursework related and personal independent projects. Additional information:
I have performed in numerous plays, shows and musicals in Derbyshire, and have helped in other productions as part of the back stage team. I have passed my grade 4 LAMDA exam at merit, grade 5 Trinity exam at distinction and in 2007 I won the award for most improved drama student. In 2010 I performed in the award winning “Our House,” the Madness musical, in which I took on a principal role. And in June 2011 I worked backstage in Derby’s production of Mel Brooks’ “The Producers.”

I am a very keen surfer and regularly arrange trips with friends, to various surfing beaches around the UK, my favourite surfing spots are Polzeath in Cornwall, and Saunton sands in Devon.

I had piano lessons from the age of 11 to 16, playing classical and blues music, but currently my main instrument is guitar, in which I am self-taught. I am also an amateur on the saxophone and express an interest in all forms of music.
