About me
I love film, but more than anything I love to tell stories. I like to write short stories, film criticism but scripts are really where my heart really is. I did really well as a student & in my post uni years writing my own scripts and also writing for other people and helping others edit their work. But despite this early experience I haven't written much for a few years & have no professional credits to show. Now that I've started writing again my aim is have some of my work produced by people who are similarly learning & working towards breaking into the industry. I have a BA Film Studies, an MA Independent Film & Film Making, and a PgCert Film Journalism and I write and edit for the film magazine website www.filminquiry.com.Additional information:
I don't really stick to one format. I like to write shorts, features & TV episodes. My stories are usually a bit 'strange', and I write a lot about ghosts, hallucinations, delusions. But I'm also keen of writing about the real world, usually to entertain myself and am fond of a well thought out romantic comedy. I also really liking testing myself with other people's stories and word games (pick three words & I'll write you a story) to see what I can create.
