About me
I have been working at a Japanese company as a pattern cutter for 7 years in Tokyo. I am interested in theatre costume work, so I have worked on a theatre costume making team on the weekends. This year, I started doing theatre costuming full-time. That was good experience for me. I feel like I'm working in my dream job. I learned what exciting and successful teamwork is. I believe in theatre's potential to excite the public. That was very hard work but I didn't feel tired. I'd like this as a career. I want to continue working in costuming.Additional skills:
I am a highly skilled pattern cutter comfortable using both sewing machine and needlework. I am able to work to a deadline whilst maintaining a high standard of work. I thrive as part of a team or individually I am sure I will contribute to your company positively.
Additional information:
Now, I have the opportunity to work in London for at least 2 years. British costume design has a long tradition and I am keen to learn your working style. I would like to broaden my skills as part as your sewing staff and hopefully bring those ideas back to Japan one day in the future.I am a happy and positive person. I will go to work with a smile and be cheerful everyday. Please give me a chance.
