About me
Hi there, my name is Kelly-Anne. I am 25 and from outside of Glasgow. I have recently moved to London where I will now be based permanently. I have performed as a singer and actress for over 10 years with credits in Musical Theatre, Theatre, Film, Corporate functions and Workshops. I have also been a freelance teacher of singing, drama and movement for 3 years with experience teaching children from 3-18 in private and group sessions.Music professional:
Scottish singer actress Kelly-Anne Jones is currently a scholarship student studying on the MA Musical Theatre Performance programme at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama due to graduate October 2010. Kelly-Anne has performed for over ten years in theatre and as a vocalist and she prides herself on her diverse background which led her to finding her love of performance. Kelly-Anne graduated in 2009 with an MA Hons in Politics and Public Policy from Glasgow University and it was during this time that she turned her love of performance into a career. In 2009 Kelly-Anne won the Pavilion Theatre and Evening Times newspapers 'Search for a Star' competiton and played the role of Dorothy in the Pavilion Theatre's highly successful 'The Wizard of Never Woz' pantomime to great acclaim. Whilst at the RSAMD Kelly-Anne has been involved in workshopping new musical theatre pieces, including originating the role of 'Pepsi' in Douglas Maxwell's new musical 'The Bookie, provided vocals and entertainment at a variety of corporate gigs, performed her own cabaret show 'The Politics of Life and Sex' in Oran Mor and been cast in two highly successful shows at this years Edinburgh Fringe Festival - 'Spring Awakening' and 'Closest to the Moon'.
