About me
Creative and motivated professional with strong passion for costume design and detail with expertise in carrying out comprehensive research and in knowledge of historical, contemporary, and global culture.Currently single handedly running and maintaining the Wardrobe, Hair and Special Effects make up department on Jeff Wayne’s musical version of War of the Worlds, the immersive experience in London. Role includes but is not limited to; costume breakdown, fittings, alterations, repairs and general maintenance, inventory, stock checks, sourcing of products and wardrobe items, continuity checks and show watches, laundry, wardrobe selection and assignment, garment construction, design changes/additions and general responsibility for dressing room, laundry, freelance wardrobe assistants, prop weaponry supervision and costume-stock rooms.
Adept at using sewing machine and overlockers for domestic and industrial purposes, managing projects from inception to completion. Possess the ability to produce creative, eye-catching, and award-winning designs. Exceptional communication skills and expertise in maintaining customer focus throughout the development to ensure final product meets and exceeds clients’ expectations. Demonstrated ability to assess industry trends, market needs, and implement technological improvements to produce new products and create stimulating designs.

I have always had an overwhelming passion for theatre and film, having grown up regularly attending the theatre and cinema It has always been an ambition of mine to be a part of the production of something so special. Having worked hard in order to attain my degree to allow me to do so, I hope that I can now achieve my ambitions of working in this fascinating and ever evolving industry.
