About me

I'm a Director of visceral, emotionally-charged dramas and slick, on-point brand films and commercial work. I've Directed pieces all over the world and thrive on nailing narratives, moods, tones and textures.

My works have picked up numerous international awards from the likes of The New York Film & TV Festival, The London Film Awards, Cannes Corporates and Houston Worldfest & have screened in BAFTA and Oscar qualifying film festivals.

Among my most recent projects have been an award-winning brand film for the NHS, a six-part docudrama for Discovery ID, an award-winning international series for Bloomberg, and a moving domestic abuse commercial for Standard Chartered. It's been a real mix of wonderful challenges.

I am currently developing my first slate of feature films consisting of single-location survival-thriller DELAYED, 70’s cop horror THE WEAVE and psychosexual thriller OUTLIER.

Since 2011, I have worked with Mark Blackman on a number of occasions. I am very proud of the work that we have done together and I would have found the films much more difficult to execute if he had not been directing them. We have mainly made global documentary films together, and I choose to work with Mark on these projects because I was looking for a modern look and approach. I admire his short films and his music video work, and I wanted to translate these looks and feels into the films that I was making. The first major project that we worked on together was a set of films that looked at a day in the life of children from around the world.
