About me
After a good several years and endless, sleepless nights exploring in the creative pool, I finally like to call myself an individual performance designer & artist. But it wouldn't be more appropriate for me to sit on this title firmly without you keeping an eye on my profile and open up opportunities for this young artist!( Thanks for staying! ) I am a 2015 graduate in Performance Design and Practice of Central Saint Martins with a First Class Honour Degree. Throughout the years I have been collaborating with different people on a variety of design projects these include production design, immersive event design, dance performance design, scenic design, short films and set design etc.
I see myself as a storyteller which I am always enthusiasm in developing new trends and digging into all kinds of materials in order to tell an exciting story to my audience.
My biggest interest is to create interaction and engage people in my design, I would describe my works as playful, innovative and unpredictable. My production design projects include design work for the 10th Birthday Party for The Hospital Club, which involved turning the entire building into a Military Hospital back to time in WW1and create a storyline for the audience to immerse in an anatomy room and have a taste of dissection in there. I have also collaborated in an immersive project – ‘Madama Butterfly’ at The Royal Albert Hall, which base on the story and the music of Puccini’s Opera ‘Madama Butterfly’ and designed my live contemporary dance performance and set in the hall, where the audiences were able to walk around the set to see the show in whichever angel they desire. Other experience includes taking part in the ‘Alice Adventures Underground’ at the Vaults to create a narrative immersive adventure for the audience etc. Accordingly, my love for theatre production and events has no room for doubt and I truly believe that you would find my experiences and skills useful to you.
As a person from oversea, I have educated in Art and Design between Hong Kong and England and I enjoy working collaboratively as well as getting in touch with people from different corners of the world.
Nonetheless, I consider myself as an enthusiastic person who loves life and could be inspired by every aspect in daily life as well as a good observer. I am always willing to learn new things which makes me an open-minded and creative person.
