About me

I have previous experience with plays, musicals and concerts and was regarded as an organised and calming presence backstage. Also for my quick and creative solutions to any problems that arose often with a good sense of humour as I really enjoy my job and all the challenges that come with it. I prioritise health, safety and communication because I value the trust put in me by employers and coworkers to do the best job possible and uphold the standards of the company and for myself. I have previous experience in many backstage departments and am very good at learning new skills on the fly and memorising plots and tracks very quickly.
I love getting to work with new people and learning from their experience and bringing my own experience and talents to the team to provide the best possible working environment for crew and cast and the best experience for the audience. I am extremely time flexible and dedicated and am always ready to cover last minute.
I have been a dresser several times in the past and am able to sew and craft and am used to doing fast repairs even during shows. Previous repairs include very fast zip repairs and rebuilding the inside of leather boots. I also have experience with last minute cast changes and covers and adapting to meet the new needs that arise. I enjoy challenging myself with learning new crafts and trying more and more complicated designs. I am used to shows with many many costume changes that require keeping track of and resetting as well as plots with extensive presets, in addition to working with very large casts. Also have plenty of experience with creating and updating cue sheets and plots and sharing them with others.
I am very excited to gain more experience and learn as much as I can while doing the best job possible.
