Equipment

My Equipment/Kit: I own a Canon 700D alongside the 18-55mm kit lens and a 50mm prime lens. I also have a Velbon tripod, a Rode VideoMic, Rode Lapel Mic and a Blue Snowball for home recording. I edit on Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Lightroom.

I can use: Rode Microphones, Canon DSLR, TikTok, Asana, YouTube, Canva, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro

About me

I have done freelance work for Birmingham TV, filming interviews and creating features for broadcast. I've also created online video content for the University of Wolverhampton (where I also lectured part-time) Coverage Care Services (Shropshire's largest not-for-profit care provider), education charity Landau, Fabweld Steel Products, FBC Manby Bowdler (solicitors), the Arable Event (annual farmer's conference) as well as Wolverhampton Council, where I was given a glowing reference for my work by the then mayor who commissioned the project.

On most projects I do the bulk of filming, sound and edit, creating and publishing content (with copy!) to demanding timescales. But on the whole I feel most at home out in the field (sometimes literally) with a camera in hand and interesting people to engage with. Especially if it's human interest, I'm interested.

I'm a self-driven individual based in the West Midlands with years of experience at a variety of film and TV roles. In 2021 I forged my passion into a degree, graduating from the University of Wolverhampton with a 1st Class Honours in Film and TV Production.

I strive for a well polished product, whether audio or visual. I've always been drawn to stories and the engaging ways in which we tell them. In a world full of automated AI assistance, I feel human stories and messages (and the ways they are presented) are more vital than ever.

I'm a fantastic communicator, described as "the ultimate people person" by a former employer. Should I need to produce something solo or remotely, you can also rely on me for that!
