About me
A dedicated individual who strives to design and create costumes that fully reflect the character, and aid the wearer in their performance. Close attention is always given to the way in which the costume will interact with the body, restricting or guiding its movements, as well as the way it will be incorporated into the set, and the performance as a whole.Additional skills:
Specialist: experience with using domestic and industrial sewing machines, as well as industrial irons and over-locker - beading - breaking down techniques - pattern manipulation - millinery - corsetry - basic Photoshop.
Collaboration: Enjoy working as part of a team in order to generate a wider range of ideas and incorporate the skills of others. Open-minded, enthusiastic, ability to communicate ideas clearly and reach compromise.
Problem Solving: Ability to identify problems and use initiative to find a solution, taking into consideration practicalities e.g. time constraints, budget. Work well under pressure and can keep to deadlines.
