About me
As a Director or Assistant Director I believe my primary role is to connect the actor with the text in a way that will convey the 'heart' of the play to an audience. I have been privileged to work in some extremely collaborative rehearsal rooms and see myself as a facilitator, helping to achieve the collective goal of creating innovative, engaging theatre.Additional skills:
In my time I have also worked as a performed which has allowed me to approach directing with the actor's perspective in mind. I have led workshops for people with English as a second language both in Germany and Japan, using theatre to enhance their language skills.
