About me
I am a Liverpool based freelance Theatre Director with experience in fringe theatre and new writing. I am currently on the Liverpool Everyman Young Theatre Directors 2 year course with my full length show Forever and Anon being performed for three nights in June 2014 in the new Everyman Studio.I have directed for The Annexe Writers, the Liverpool Irish Festival, Theatre in the Rough for the 2012 Liverpool Biennial with other credits including Inference for Organised Chaos (Manchester), The Road to Skibbereen for the Write Now Festival (Liverpool) which then was taken to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last summer with Bee Loud and Straylight Australia.
I am currently directing New Dawn Fades for All Roads Meet (Manchester) for their national tour in May 2015 and in the planning stages of my final year show for The Everyman directors course.
Additional skills:
I have skills in sound, lighting and can confidently run a technical rehearsal. I have basic knowledge of technical equipment, can run a get-in and get-out and have built up my skills in the rehearsal room directing actors and managing a stage and design crew. I can also work to a budget, schedule rehearsals, hold auditions and cast plays confidently and develop work to a time limit. I can work with a range of actors in terms of age and experience.
