About me
I am a Junior Costume maker based in London. I have been working in film, tv and theatre for the past three years and I am looking to continue building my skill level and experience.Additional skills:
Industrial and domestic machine skills, experience in pattern drafting and stand cutting both from historic sources and original research, hand sewing including advanced sewing techniques, garment construction including period construction methods, period corsetry construction, men’s period tailoring, fabric lay and cutting, alterations, dyeing, costume history knowledge, character research and design, realisation of design from 2D to 3D, knowledge and experience of using industrial adhesives for costume construction, experience in cutting, constructing and working with leather, neoprene and technical lycras.
