A.D. Dance Company was founded in November 2009 by London based dancer and choreographer Holly Noble. The companies first performance was at Resolution! 2010, at the Robin Howard Theatre at The Place and from there the company has gone on to perform all over the England & Scotland. In the past 2 years the company has performed in Liverpool, Exeter, Uxbridge, St Albans, at Edinburgh Festival and Glastonbury Festival and at numerous venues in London. The company has steadily grown over the last two years to encompass 7 exceptional dancers, and has also offered apprenticeships to two students from vocational schools and also internships to undergraduate dancers.
The company has steadily built a reputation for its exceptionally strong dancers and technical choreography. The company is unique in the fact that it is currently the only small scale neo-classical company of it’s kind within London. We consistently push the boundaries as a small scale dance company and go beyond our means in order to deliver striking and intriguing work that will capture the audiences attention. Set firmly in classical heritage but with a strong modern streak, our aim is to become an established Neo Classical company that sets the bar with both its dancers and choreography.
