Action to the Word exists to bring the works of Shakespeare to a wide audience, for the people. It is also a theatre-in-education company, offering a wide variety of educational resources to support its productions, including free workshops to schools who attend. For performers, it offers a supportive environment in which to explore and develop relationships with Shakespeare's work. We operate a colour-blind casting policy and accept actors from a range of special needs backgrounds.
