Established in 1984, Airwaves specialises in the complete service of producing high quality television programmes and digital video production, local event radio, Internet radio and other audio productions.

In the world of broadcast television, there are few companies that can offer Airwaves' breadth of experience. From a regular water-sport series for ITV and Sky, through to major event coverage such as Formula 1, Horse Trials, Le Mans 24hr race, Wimbledon tennis and Matchplay Golf, as well as the BT Global Challenge and Volvo Ocean Race, to one-off specials on wide ranging subjects and live sports programmes, Airwaves has a unique record.

In the past it was the business of big companies to produce programmes to broadcast standards. Today, equipment advances including digital, non-linear editing based on the fastest computers, enables the creation of highly professional productions at a fraction of previous costs. The latest editing software linked to the best in support graphics and effects packages gives us versatility previously in the domain of major feature films and television commercials. Many new production companies have entered the business of creating video programmes for the increasing number of new channels, but few have the experience and work to Airwaves minimum standard - broadcast quality.
