Black Coffee Theatre was created over a cup of coffee in 2010 by Luke Adamson, Jonathan Holby and Maria Crocker.

They work with a small ensemble of actors to create short "shots" of theatre. They feel that art feeds life, and in an age where society seems to have so little time, they want to slow people down, if only for an hour, and inject some fun and meaning into an increasingly hostile world. Their work is accessible and interesting and they want to move away from the outdated notions that still surround a lot of professional theatre.
