Calon (Welsh for ‘heart’) is an award-winning company based in Cardiff producing animation and live-action content for the UK and international markets. Specialising in childrens’ and family entertainment, their latest series Hana’s Helpline: the adventures of an agony aunt duck, airs on S4C and Five’s ‘Milkshake’ as well as stations across Europe. The television broadcast of the series is accompanied by a major licensing campaign which includes DVDs (2 Entertain), publishing (Random House) and toys (Golden Bear).

Calon makes content for all platforms. Its TV programmes have been sold to over 100 countries around the world including all the UK Networks, FR3, FR5, Canal Plus, ZDF, WDR, RAI, and Al Jazeera.

Calon’s creative team have won BAFTA awards for SuperTed, Under Milk Wood, Hilltop Hospital and Hana’s Helpline.
