Curtin Parloe was created by Paul Anderton in 1996 as a character in a futuristic detective story, and from there he developed into an online persona. In 1999 the first short under the Curtin Parloe Films banner was produced, and since then several shorts have been made, including Through The Bullethole, Somnium Illis, and Milky Thursday, which was shown at the 2007 Exposures student film festival.
Since 2007, Paul has been concentrating on writing and cinematography. As a Director of Photography, he has worked with Ultimatum Films (Duty Calls), Pensive Penguin Productions (Seeing Smoke) and Shadowhawk Films (EIRE) International (National Task Force). He has also done some freelance work for Channel M, Rotunda Films, Stirling Management and Topps Casting.
