Foughtnight, a production company spearheaded by director/writer/actor, Nicholas Beveney, strive to produce innovative and visionary screen material, crossing platforms on social and cultural levels, and including features, documentaries, and music promos. Their leading feature 'Blacklands', a lyrical film that refracts a typical inner city gangland thriller through the lens of stream of consciousness montage, experimental camerawork, and bravura comic sequences, is due for release in 2012, and slated to be the first of a proposed 'Black Trilogy'.
