FRED has been established by its artistic director Robert F. Ball, and is bringing together a range of midlands-based talent. FRED is seeking out the very best actors, designers, and writers to bring you high quality professional theatre—often in non-traditional theatre spaces.
FRED's mission is summed up as CLASSIC DRAMA—CONTEMPORARY THEATRE. We are looking for ways for old plays to tell new stories, to re-engage with the classics in contemporary styles. And, to do all this while maintaining affordable ticket prices.
