Gravel Theatre are a theatre company dedicated to producing great work through ensemble collaboration and artistic freedom. We are a collective of actors, writers and directors who have decided to take creative control of our careers and work on projects we are passionate about with people who share those passions. We want to be unpretentious, uncompromising and to create theatre that is engaging and enjoyable. We believe theatre cannot be moving or relevant unless it is first entertaining, only then can it challenge, inform and excite its audience.

The people who make theatre are not more intelligent than the people who watch it, an audience's respect and money need to be earned. We believe theatre should be accessible, it should be for everyone and it should be a joy.
