Formed in spring 2011 by Kiefer Wesley Williams and Simon James, we are an exciting LGBT theatre company based in Liverpool. The first LGBT theatre company on Merseyside. In August 2013 Simon left to pursue other ambitions and Helen Kerr joined Kiefer. It was a time of transition and also a time to “re-invent” Grin Theatre.Helen stayed with the company for over a year and decided after awhile to pursue her acting career

Grin Theatre produces emotive, challenging and thought provoking works for audiences at fringe venues across Liverpool and the Northwest. Our main focus has always been about originality and quality… about bringing the best out of the fantastic creative spirit that is such a major part of Liverpool and providing opportunities for new writers, performers and directors.
