Opera di Nepotist was formed to mount a single performance of SWEENEY TODD. After three separate performances of TODD, as well as INTO THE WOODS at the Edinburgh Festival, VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS at the Battersea Barge, THE BRIDE OF SEVILLE... we are now looking forward to our third Christmas show, A NURSEMAID'S TALE, based on the story of Sleeping Beauty.

The name came about as the company was started by Lorna Baillie with a desire to perform with her daughter, Sarah, before she went off to form her own operatic career, together with unsuspecting friends. Sarah is currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music, but Lorna is delighted that many of the original members remain, joined by new friends.
