Queensland Theatre Company moved into its headquarters at 78 Montague Road, South Brisbane in July 2002. The premises are a renovation of the old Evans Deakin Industries building and a little known pre-Federation brewery. Blending with the existing structure is a new building housing the Company’s flagship rehearsal and performance studio, recently named in honour of Queensland performing arts icon Bille Brown.

Queensland Theatre Company's three-storey building features rehearsal studios, performance venue, a foyer and bar accessible during public performances, wardrobe and props manufacturing departments, management and administration offices, ticket sales office, as well as writing and production facilities. The Company’s set construction workshop is located next door.
