The Opera Group is an award-winning, nationally and internationally renowned opera company, specialising in commissioning and producing new operas. Our projects aim to merge the best of contemporary theatre and music.
From 2014 The Opera Group and Mahogany Opera are joining forces to become Mahogany Opera Group – building on their combined strengths to create even greater possibilities for future opera projects.

Mahogany Opera Group creates new opera in new ways, in different spaces and places throughout the UK and internationally. It presents each distinct project with a vitality that stretches the boundaries of what opera can be and who it is for.
