Waxwing sets out to make compelling, playful theatre which fully exploits the links between movement and words. We’re really interested to tell stories which make people think again about life, highlighting the wonderful as well as the dreadful (and the mundane) that we all contend with. We work with existing texts, and also devise our own stories bringing them to life through our blend of physical and oral work. And, we are always looking to develop and seek to blend new and different theatrical approaches side by side.
