White Tiger Creative Studios is owned and run by freelance Creative Director/Producer Clare McCarthy, who set up the business to offer professional, affordable graphic design and film production services to the people and businesses of the South Hams in 2001.
Since then, the studio has evolved alongside Clare’s personal ambition to make not only these services, but also the creative processes behind them, more readily available to individuals and community groups. As such, the studio’s main aim is to support grass roots organisations who don’t usually have access to the kind of budgets they think are required to maintain a professional market presence.
With a passion for using her creative practice to promote people who act - and businesses that trade - with a strong social purpose, Clare remains intent on sharing and developing innovative creative practice approaches that genuinely bridge the gap between ‘professional’ and ‘community’ arts provisions in the city of Plymouth and beyond. Clare’s true vocation remains firmly grounded in her youth and community work through various settings that inspire every person to tell their stories.
