ZOOM Films was established in 2005 to focus mainly on producing short films by Cassius Matthias. His directorial debut TRENT 2 RENT, a unique insight into the secret world of male sex workers with Dan Cade, Ashley Rolfe and Diana Quick, received its world premiere at the London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival in 2008. The follow up BUCCO BLANCO, a dark allegorical fable about love and reconciliation with Emily Bruni, Danny Sapani, Rose Heiney and Christopher Adamson, has just been completed. ZOOM is now in pre-production on ENTROPIC OF CANCER, a short film trilogy that holds a magnifying glass up to some of the emotional effects caused by the stresses of the 'economic crisis.'

Together with the success of the short film productions, ZOOM has been broadening its interests by developing a slate of feature length screenplays. ANGERLAND is a very contemporary coming-of-age story that focuses on the theme of anger in Britain; HOW ARE YOU? is inspired by a Russian script from 1923 and uses a combination of live action, archive footage and animation to tell an arresting 21st century urban tale; and CONSUMMATION is a dark and thorny love story set in an imaginary city of the near future.
