    About me

Since completing my degree in Fashion Studies, I have worked in varying sectors including fashion design, admin and retail, and have garnered much knowledge about the industry and customer service during this time. I have also gained an immeasurable amount of confidence through working within a team and dealing with a variety of issues on a day to day basis.

I have experience of working backstage at a number of fashion shows, during my time at university and during a work placement with a designer based in Stockport, Blessing Sule.

I spend most of my free time managing my small design and alteration business, and am responsible for all aspects of this, from the actual design and making side through to the admin and marketing. I run my business from home, and am extremely lucky that I am able to be flexible with hours. This has allowed me to become part of the crew on the upcoming film Dishonoured, a film that is being shot locally to me. I am the Wardribe and Costume Supervisor, and also dabble in a spot of set dressing when it's called for. Ideally, I'd love to get into costume making full time, so this is excellent experience to go alongside my design and making skills.

I look forward to more opportunities like this in the future!
