About me
I have just returned from a study abroad year in Brisbane, Australia, where I gained a vast amount of TV & Film experience. Not only from the Queensland University of Technology but from independent film companies such as Broken Touch Productions and Powerhouse Media Productions. Additionally, I worked for a local news station as a sound assistant. I have now come back to England with a boost of confidence and I’m keen to keep learning more about the industry before and after I finish my degree at the University of Essex where I’m studying Film & Creative Writing. My specific area of expertise is directing, writing and art direction, to which I have made and worked on a few different projects.Skills

‘You’re Still Cool’ - Director/writer 2013
In my second year of university at Essex, I wrote and directed ‘You’re Still Cool’, a dramatic thriller about a young couple caught up in a sad world of domestic violence.
The film was the only one from my year to be shown at the annual screenings at the university, which I was very proud of.

‘Adam and Steve’ – Writer/actor
Last year I wrote Adam and Steve, a satirical comedy taking the mickey out of the famous biblical story of Adam and Eve. I took a lot of inspiration from Ricky Gervais, a favorite comedian of mine.

‘Reminiscence’ - Producer 2012
In 2012 I produced my first film, Reminiscence. This was a fantastic rollercoaster of a ride as producing was totally new to me but I thrived with it and am looking forward to producing again.

‘The Infant’ – Art Department
In 2014 whilst in Australia I had my most adventurous role in film, working in art department. Me and a co worker designed and built our very own version of Hell.
This project was done with Broken Touch Productions, an indie film production group who will be releasing the film sometime in 2015.

‘Tomorrow’ – Script Supervisor
In 2013 I was given the chance to work on my first ever feature film through Powerhouse Media Productions in Brisbane. I took on the role of script supervisor, which was extremely challenging but a lot of fun and extremely educational. At one point during production I took charge of costume department because the costume designer had to leave.
The film will be released later into 2015
