About me
I’m a UK based video editor available to help with post-production in a range of video content. I have previous experience working in a variety of genres, both short form and feature length.I have a keen eye for detail and a passion for using a combination of my technical and artistic skills to produce the best results for the client. Although my main focus is in editing, I also have a wider skill set in post-production, including colour grading, motion graphics and visual effects which I can bring to projects to help achieve the clients’ vision.
I’ve built my skills around being versatile and adaptable, able to work in a range of different content, having worked on music videos, short form dramas and feature length documentaries. I have experience working on-site in professional editing suites and remotely on my own custom workstation, I always ensure the workflow is the best it can be to suit the needs of the client.
I graduated in 2019 from Birmingham City University with a first class degree in BSc Film Technology and Visual Effects. During my studies and since I’ve worked on various projects for the university, including the award-winning documentary ‘That’s La Morte: Italian Cult Cinema and the Years of Lead’ (‘Best Documentary Feature‘ award Florida Underground indie film festival 2019).
Referees:
"Jamie is one of the most capable editors I have worked with, across numerous projects from documentaries such as "That's La Morte" to Short films such as "Out of Time" and Do Not Disturb". Jamie always gives his all to any job he undertakes and has a wide skill set enabling him to really bring the vision for a project to life through various post-production techniques. I trust him to cut my image and make the best of the Raw footage.
I'd describe Jamie as an Old head on young shoulders and that he is very skilled, I can't recommend Jamie enough, and I hope to continue to work with him in the future."
- Ash Connaughton, Freelance Director of Photography.

"Jamie came onboard a project as an assistant at first, but his dedication and knowledge soon became abundantly clear, and he was swiftly promoted to lead editor. He is an asset to the team and I’m so glad to have worked with him and very much look forward to collaborating with him again in the future."
- Phillip Escott, Director/Producer 441 Films.
