About me
I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010 with a BA in Film Studies and Political Science. The end of my senior year was spent interning at New Perspective Productions in Pittsburgh PA.I have worked on numerous projects some independent, some freelance, for myself and for others. While working for the set design Park Place Studio, I also freelanced commercial-promotional work, music videos, and independent film.
I read on one filmmakers blog that the key to film-making is the ability to see images in your head. That part is easy. I think anyone can train themselves to do that. The hard part is doing the work to make it happen. That takes a lot of dedication, fortitude, and love of one's craft. Every production I have ever worked on has had pitfalls and failures in it, but each of these pitfalls is an opportunity to adapt into something previously unforeseen. Having written for and worked in video and film for nearly half a decade now, I've found that no two projects (whether independent or for a client) are the same. Because of this, every project that I've ever worked on is special and has its own unique value. With every new job, there is something new to learn, and something else to perfect. Every project I have worked on so far takes me to somewhere I haven't been before, and that is something that makes it better and more exciting than the last.
