A Bit About Angie

A story about love and hardship, set in East London against the backdrop of West Ham Football Club and a sons love for his father and a mother that left her son.

Angie has left her son when he was very young to pursue her dream to become a showgirl. Years later she returns to find that her son has died when an operation to give his father a new kidney goes wrong. He is only 21. Angie learns of her sons death from his friend and realises that she will never get to make it up to him. Angie also learns that her son had turned to a backstreet doctor to get the operation done, but what she does not know is that the dodgy doctor is in fact her boyfriend.
